Shared Voice

Shared Voice is the only way to guarantee verified personal support from local residents for planning applications - significantly increasing the chances of approval.

The traditional ‘Tell us what you think’ engagement model - typically used by developers and local authorities in the planning system - only amplifies the most motivated voices, creating a distorted picture of local opinion.  As a result, planning committees often see objections but little visible support for new homes, infrastructure or energy projects.

Shared Voice takes a completely different approach, by identifying genuine local residents who support development at all stages of the planning process and ensuring their individual comments appear on planning portals. By making that support visible to councillors at key decision points, Shared Voice avoids the pressure to downsize development and gives councillors the confidence to approve schemes.
